The Wrecker is a nearly-unstoppable "land dreadnaught." Not only does it carry incredibly heavy armor, but it incorporates a processing plant that creates replacement armor plating by grinding up and processing the very terrain over which it moves. The residue is expelled in a blinding cloud of smoke and dust that stops most enemy energy beams. Its offensive weaponry is similar: dozens of high-velocity sandcasters and three kilo-class railguns fire metal-and-silicon projectiles created within the bowels of the Wrecker itself. This armament is capable of kinetic kills on anything from a missile to an orbital fortress. For operations where complete destruction of the battlefield itself is acceptable collateral damage and survival of the local population is not important, this unit is invaluable.
