September 26, 2020: FnordBlitz 2.3 Is Open
FnordCon 2.3 roars into town on October 10th. Players can join now and all the way up until convention morning just before 10am. The Team Mega game will not admit new players after 10am on 10/10/2020. At 10:10 on 10/10/2020 the first tick will run, the 2nd tick will be about 10:30am SJ Games time and the game will automatically tick every half hour after that until 9pm.Watch the FnordCon 2.3 page or this lobby or the forums for details. Enjoy the convention festivities in between moves if you like.

September 18, 2020: Ultramailing List Overhauled
The Acutron, taking human form in Kira Lightsphere, has overhauled the Ultramailing List and you can sign up to receive the news now. Thank you oh luminescent one!Fnord.con 2.3, a virtual Steve Jackson Games convention, will take place on October 10th, 2020. 10/10/2020 SJ Games will be conducting a number of events, one of which will be an Ultracorps Blitz Game. 23 turns every half hour from 10:10 on 10/10/2020 to about the time which will allow lavish prizes to be rained down onto the best finish for a new player and best expansion for a new player. Some players sometimes start fast and they may get an award for that before things wrap up earlier than 10/10/2020 at about 10:10pm.

Sun Tzu Leads the Harvest Moon Mega game after a dozen turns! Gerry.Gaqdget is on the silver step and Malagster is holding the bronze. For now! Five players are in a pack at 4th place: AntiTang, Black Knight, Caruso, Helgrenze and Solitar. Rounding out the top 9 are Dr-Sci Habig and Hair10.

September 11, 2020: Fall Feeding Frenzy
AntiTang and Dr_Sci are in a battle of the Titans for 1st place in Harvest Moons after 6 turns.That may be an issue for those two as Black Knight, Caruso, Habig, Hair10, Jodos and mhLyvz are all only one back in a tie for 3rd. 7 players are tied for 10th - Arillus, Neotris9, Starcharger, Sun_Tzu, ThyFloppyAlen, Tower and Zen. Another set of contenders are just one planet out of the top ten and with 22 turns left they are jockeying for position to make a run.
Look for one or two Holiday Ring Games this fall and Winter, and possibly a fog event and other games ideas as presented and considered in the forums.
On September 1st ThyFloppyCactus nailed a rare Solo 5, and a single day later Neotris9 got his on the 2nd. Narcy7 and UndeadBones got 5's in 2019 and Malagster got his 5, or at least reported that he did, about this time almost 2 years ago. Nicely done Commanders!!! Kudzu and Habig are the next active players with Solo 5's and those came in 2010.
