X-Factors and Racial Perks
X-Factors are special unit abilities (or penalties) that modify the normal combat rules. "Racial perks" are X-Factors that are bonuses for a specific race.
The displayed Firepower ratings do not take X-Factors into account.
X-Factors for each unit and race are listed as part of its description. An individual game may add, remove, or modify X-Factors - for instance, for a special scenario. Check the Game Info Page for this information.
Viewing X-Factors in the Battle Report
When you view a Battle Report, production report, etc., a colored triangle signals that an X-Factor came into play. A green triangle (
) indicates an X-Factor that was favorable to you; a red triangle (
) indicates it was unfavorable. Click the triangle for details.
