Avatars
During beta, players who earn 50 or more XP will be able to add an avatar to their profile page, and change or remove it at will. Your avatar will appear on your Empire page and on any forum posting you make.
To change your avatar, go to your profile page and click on it.
Avatars must be GIF or JPG images, up to 100 x 100 pixels in dimensions, and under 30KB in size. If you don't want to create an original avatar, you are welcome to draw one from the avatar library (to which contributions are welcome . . . send them to kira@sjgames.com). Please note that offensive avatars will be removed and the offending Commander's avatar privileges will be revoked.
Once we go "live," avatars will be a subscription privilege, but beta-testers who already had avatars will be able to keep them (but not change them) even if they don't subscribe. But we hope you do . . .
